Tell me anything that will help me get to know your child better. Hobbies, sports, personality, interests, pets, etc. The more I know, the better I can connect with them and help them feel at ease during their session.
Does your child and/or any family member have physical impairments, sensory or cognitive challenges? Does anyone in your family have areas that they feel self-conscious about? Any sensitive relationships/interactions I should be aware of? This will help with shooting, prompts and editing.
DEPOSIT: A $250 deposit is required to hold your session date. Your session is not booked until your deposit is paid. Your deposit is non-refundable and will be applied towards your session total.
PAYMENTS: The remaining balance for your session, less your deposit, is due before your session. If you purchase enhancements, enhancements must be paid in full before the digital product will be delivered.
ILLNESS & INJURY: If anyone in your family has been directly exposed to a COVID-19 or has COVID-19 symptoms within 10 days of your session or has an injury that will prevent them from participating in photos, please ask to reschedule.
WEATHER: The final call on weather will be made by the photographer. Typically, sessions are only rescheduled if there's rain, windy conditions or unseasonably cold or hot temperatures. For sunset sessions, the weather assessment is usually made by noon on the day of your session. If the weather is not ideal for photography, the photographer will work with you on to book a rain date. For sunrise sessions, the assessment is usually done the evening before your session. Sunshine glow cannot be guaranteed for mini sessions or for sessions booked in peak busy season. If sunshine glow is important to you, please note this in your registration form.
SESSION TIME: Session times vary by location, weather and season. When holding your date, please hold the 2-3 hour window after sunrise or before sunset. A more detailed schedule will be set closer to your shoot date.
GALLERIES: Galleries are typically delivered in 2-3 weeks but might take up to five weeks during peak season. If you need your photos back by a specific date, please let me know in writing before your session and I will do my best to help.
COPYRIGHT: Your session includes printing rights to purchased photos. Photo will be delivered in high resolution JPEG format. The photos delivered are not to be edited by the client or other person. RAW files are not provided. The photographer retains copyrights to all photos and the photographer reserves the right to post photos to digital platforms (social media, website, etc.) unless client specifies otherwise in writing within 7 days of gallery delivery.
PRINTS & PRODUCTS: Any photos you purchase include printing rights so you may print photos or order photo products at the photo lab of your choice. Your gallery will also include print and product offerings, should you want help ordering prints through a professional lab.
PHOTO STORAGE: Please download and back up your photos (more information on this is provided in the photo management guide you'll receive with your gallery). Once purchased photos are delivered, the photographer does not guarantee copies of your photos will be retained beyond 90 days. Online galleries are also not meant for long term storage and are only guaranteed for 90 days. If you gallery is decommissioned and you request for it to be rebuilt, a $75 gallery build fee will likely apply to cover the time required to rebuild your gallery.
